Golden memories of GHS Luncheon Club, Pictures to cherish - Some old some new...

Gujarat Hindu Society has played an active role in the main stream activities in Preston and Lancashire; such as Preston Guild, cultural presentation at various local functions, participation in Preston Mela, Folklore festival.

PranPratishtha Mahotsav was carried out by our learned priest Ratilal Maharaj & other Bhudev from the UK. All the dignitaries associated with GHS were present from all over the UK. Murti Pratishtha of Lord Ramdarbar, Goddess Amba, Ganapati Maharaj and Hanumanji took place by yajaman. Over 1000 devotees came together to witness the installation of Ramdarbar. This was another historic day for the Preston as now we have all the deities and we are also known as Sanatan Mandir.

Children from age 4 till 16 have enthusiastically participated in the Ganesh Pooja this year. Please continue to support your children for such activities.

The highlights of the Bhajan Samelan which was organised by Gujarat Hindu Society. As our Vice President Ishwarbhai mentioned!! We had roughly over 80 members watching on Zoom all over the world and roughly 30 members on our Facebook page. Huge thank you to the young and talented Shivam Patel and experienced committee member Bharatbhai Maru who worked hard and kept the programme running smoothly on Zoom and the Facebook page. And during the programme you may have noticed the thank you banner which was made by our valuable volunteer Shreya Ghodke who been very helpful to our mandir at all the time...

Cheque Presentation Friday 2nd October 11.30am at Mandir We are glad to inform everyone that the sum of £7000 raised through bhajan samhelan for Royal Preston Hospital was presented to the representative from the hospital. We would like to thank each and every one for their contribution. Our President Dashrath bhai explained how the funds were raised and thanked everyone for their continued support The funds will be used for equipment in Renal unit and critical care unit. Huge thank you to all our volunteers singers and musicians who took a part in this programme as well.
