The Society has continuously recognised the importance of youth within the Hindu community. The youth played an instrumental role in helping with the renovation and maintenance work when the old school was purchased in 1975. This encouraged a sense of ownership for the young Hindus in the society. The youth are encouraged through the weekly Youth Club, Balkunj group, Bollywood Dance classes, Classical Dance classes and more.
The youth have revolutionised the way in which devotees receive information by using social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Youtube). The website is also managed by the youth who volunteer to serve their time to the GHS. In addition, there are many volunteering opportunities available at the Society should individuals like to become involved such as decorations, social media, arts, health melas, representing the Society at events, organising events and participating in cultural shows.
