Educational Provision

The society regularly hosts major cultural evenings involving local community members and mainstream agencies such as the police, probation and local authority. This cultural activity is self-financing and does not receive any funding from any sources. In the locality GHS has made its vision not only meet the needs of the Hindu community and the local population, but also provide a major conference and training facility for statutory services, business, voluntary organisations and education establishments.

The centre can also cater for cultural, educational, and social and welfare needs of the community. The existence of the building allowed the centre to forge partnerships with some key statutory agencies For example, GHS has further developed its basic adult guidance service provision in partnership with LAWTEC (now known as Lancashire Learning & Skills Council)
