The Gujarat Hindu Society performs a variety of important roles and, as a result of the work of its subsidiary company, GHS Enterprise, much of its work is entirely self-financing.
However, while the revenue generated by GHS Enterprise is extremely helpful, it is not possible to fund all the socially beneficial projects that the GHS would like to undertake. For this additional work, we rely on the support of individuals, companies and other sponsors.
If you would like to make a donation to support our work, or if you would like to sponsor a particular event or initiative, please contact the GHS Centre Manager.
Acknowledgement:
The development of the GHS Centre was funded by the Millennium Commission,
which provided a grant of £1.77 million towards bringing this project
to fruition. In particular our thanks go to Mr Bill Alexander, Director,
for all his support during the development of the project. We are also
grateful to Lord Dalkeith, Commissioner for the Millennium Commission,
who had a sound understanding of the need to maintain Indian culture and
traditions and who encouraged us to include Eastern architectural features
to complement the Western design.
