The centre has always supported activities that develop and enrich the cultural development of individuals and the community and it has, over the years, developed activities around this. For example, young people are trained by volunteers to perform traditional Indian dancing, to perform at various venues for the community itself and also for other communities and organisations.

Classical dance classes are regularly conducted. The GHS centre has established
a classical dance school and attracts more than 40 youngsters each week.
Young people are also taught how to play Indian musical instruments such
as the Tabla and Harmonium, and over the years young people have been
involved in drama productions.
