GHS has remained committed to ensure women and young girls play an important role in the running of the Centre. Ever since the opening, our ladies have been the backbone. They have worked side by side with management ensuring that whatever task was on hand got done. A prime example was when Pujya Morari Bapu Katha was organised. Since the new Centre formed, the women’s group has organised many programmes and training towards encouraging ladies to join management.
There is a team of three ladies who work alongside the management in fulfilling day to day activities at the Centre. We are pleased to say that for the last 5 years there have been women in our management. GHS is proud of all the women who volunteer at the Centre and who have chosen not to be in management but wish to do ‘SEWA’, selfless service.
